Parade of Farms is an idea spurred by the ever-popular Parade of Homes concept. However, instead of touring homes, our guests have the opportunity to tour local farms and agribusinesses to experience a behind-the-scenes look into local agriculture.
First started in 2016, our inaugural event featured local farms and agribusinesses in the Kunia corridor on O’ahu. With over 400 guests at last year’s event in Waialua, we continue in our mission to “cultivate community” by connecting our local agriculture and local communities, guests and visitors alike.
Each year, the Parade of Farms host, O’ahu Resource Conservation & Development Council (O’ahu RC&D), aims to showcase a different geographic region of our island farms. Our 2018 Parade of Farms event will highlight our local farms and agribusinesses in Waimānalo on O’ahu. We hope to see you there, Saturday, May 5th!
